Episode 3 of the weekly side quest series, tackling an entirely self-serve set-up with an 8 ft. artist alley table at Sac Comic-Con on March 22-23! Did you ever consider your options of how you can manage your artist alley set-up? I always wondered, at least, whether it was more optimal for customers' shopping experience to parse through artist alley tables with menu style or self-serve. I'm a little more used to the self-serve systems as I do college outdoor event frequently, and prefer to opt for those as a means of minimizing the transaction time between each customer. However, the idea of doing an entirely self-serve table was always daunting. This episode, I decided to tackle the project of utilizing a few different displays products that make it all possible, and give my thoughts on some pros and cons as we navigate another weekly event.
